Baby shoes by Catarina M.

I, like Justine, am an enthusiastic fan of the independent designers/artists found on Etsy. And when I came across these baby shoes by architect/mom Catarina M. I just swooned and wondered how she made the transition from architecture to baby shoe design. So many women have discovered hidden talents after having children. Hmmm… Catarina also counts on friends who encouraged her newfound passion while she mustered up the courage to open her Etsy shop. She’s sold fifteen pairs already and promises to be back with more. We need to gang up on her with a barrage of emails so she gets back to work because the results are beautiful, handmade and seemingly one-of-a-kind. See for yourself. The product photography is fantastic too. Would love to see pics of her kids’ rooms since I am duly inspired by her work and am compelled by the idea of her entire lifestyle.
