Ej Sikke Lej

owl--ejsikke.jpg

Children's clothing company Ej Sikke Lej began with a chance finding of an old needlework book with animal designs in it. The original artist may be lost in the mists of time, but two Danish women found his or her owl graphically strong and amusing enough to put on their very first children's t-shirt. Since then they have developed a line of bright-coloured basics featuring all kinds of beasts, rendered in a simple line. Let your child pick a favourite animal, from squirrel to duck, and then decide on any one of a range of rainbow colours.

Available in a number of outlets across Scandinavia, Europe and Canada.
