Jolie and Jane

Warm weather is finally here and it's such a relief to be able to just slip dresses on the girls since getting dressed in the morning has, for some reason, become a dreaded task of tantrums and wrestling fits to get on pants, sweaters, and tights on the toddler (grrrr!!!!). Jolie and Jane, a small children's clothier, makes the cutest little dresses for girls. I bought a version of the dress below last year in a subtle striped linen and it was my favorite outfit on the toddler. The gathered pouch pockets were a cool discovery for her (as she noticed pockets for the first time last summer) and the shape and styling is a bit vintage - just a sweet little dress. This year she'll wear it as a top with shorts, but as I'm looking ahead for clothes in a size 5T, I'm mourning the loss of some of my favorite brands as they don't go beyond that size (yes, good thing I have another little girl to dress! Superficial, sure).
