Nimbu's new line for baby

Snapshot 2007-05-22 10-49-27.jpg

While shopping in one of my favorite stores last weekend, I discovered this fabulous new line of baby clothes. Nimbu, a company which expertly combines Italian design with Indian fabric, has recently expanded on their popular women's collection to include some wonderful wee-wear. Each piece is carefully crafted from lightweight, breathable cotton that has been hand loomed, dyed and block printed in a traditional manner. Often the garments are also hand embroidered and embellished for some truly unique pieces. Simple yet exquisite, these gossamer creations are perfect for summer.

The baby line is so new that Nimbu has yet to add samples to their website, although they assure me they will soon. In the meantime, you can check them out in person at Eloise in Charlottesville, VA; Midnight Farm in Vineyard Haven; Pebbles in Santa Monica, CA; and Karol Richardson (where I found it) in Orleans, MA. Or you can email them for a catalog.
