Oopa Baby

oopa1.jpg

Okay. So, Oopa Baby makes me want to have another one. I already have a spirited brood of three ages 6, 4 and 2…have I gone temporarily MAD? Anyway, Oopa makes one-of-a-kind ring slings from pique, silk, chambray and cashmere that are simply gorgeous. And they are cut on the bias, so when you are wearing one without the baby in it, you can actually use the sling as a scarf or shawl. Amazing! Check out the one in silver Nepalese cashmere—so, dare I say it, chic. (FYI: some styles are currently on sale). While pricey, their craftsmanship and uniqueness make them so special. I also love their take on the do’ rag for babies and the colorful, ruffled-edge bloomers. Imagine a crawling baby wearing one of these? And the do’ rags are so perfect to cover and protect sensitive baby heads from the unforgiving sun.

Thanks for the tip Lucy!

You're not the only one with the "Oopa Baby Bug"! Two years ago I was totally drooling over these silken beauties. Now they are my favorite slings! And the Do'rags are just too cute, my daughter Satori has a few of those too. :)
