Ruby from Oobi

ruby-rabbit

Four people in Sydney Australia are adding a little to the stock of surreal toys in the world, and doing some good at the same time. Oobi is a small company, but its products are available in many countries worldwide, including the US and UK. A portion of the profits goes towards four indigenous charities.

So far so good, but what precisely do they sell? Well, firstly there are the 'Timorous Beasties', such as the rabbit (Ruby from Oobi) you see above. This strange range of animals have a kind of misshapen appeal in common.

Then there are clothes you won't see anywhere else, such as this stripy knitted cape and this big spotty hooded top.

Personally, I'm sold. If you are too, visit this page to see where your nearest retailer is located.
