The Leather Zoo keeps your books safe and sound

We're constantly having to restack the books in the kids' room; the bookends keep sliding around in the middle of the night and we wake up to the sound of books sliding to the floor. It's not a pretty picture. As we scoured the Internet for alternatives we found the Leather Zoo, a set of leather animals that look great and also function as book ends.

They're all incredibly cute, but I like the dinosaurs and the dragons, while Jess is a fan of the lions and moose. Mooses. Meese?

The site notes that these are worthy of being made into keepsakes; I always feel like when someone tells you that it's the kiss of death for your kids to actually like something enough to hold onto. With these though, I think it's a good call. I'm in love, and now our books won't wake us up anymore. Gotta love that functionality!
