The Man in the Moon lamp

man-in-moon-lamp

After Noah is an Islington (in London) institution - a kind of antique shop cum gift boutique, they have such a wide range of surprising products that it is always worth popping in. Or you can get a virtual approximation of the same experience via their website.

I was going to say that these Man in the Moon lights are not exactly what I would expect to find there, but that's pretty much meaningless since the After Noah ethos might as well be 'expect the unexpected'.

In any case, it seems to me that a child would enjoy the perceived safety and cosiness of being watched over by the Man in the Moon; visit the same page of the website to see other variations on the same theme, including a faintly bizarre 'man on a slide' light, and a wonderful rigid plastic cloud in three colours.

The website does not mention international shipping, but I am sure they approach it with the same friendly helpfulness that pervades their site; I'd advise you to contact them for a quote.
