When it comes to mobiles make 'em simple and colorful: the Volabella

It's easy to spend entire days looking at mobiles for your children; they come in every color and shape and design, so it's hard to pick just one. I have a thing for wood though. Even if it's up somewhere where little hands can't reach it, I think wood adds more character to a room than metal or plastic. Maybe it's just comforting to know it's there. I'm a big fan of the Volabella mobile. The birds are bright and colorful with a yellow sun at the very top.

Ironically enough, when I don't have much to say about a product I know I've found something that's worth talking about. It's simple, attractive, and understated. Every time I see it I smile, and the motion makes it look like birds are slowly flying about the room. Very nice.
