Guitars for toddlers: rocking the cradle

This 'trendy baby' craze could go a bit far, you know. I mean, it's one thing dressing your child in cute punk t-shirts and bandanas, but actually buying them an electric guitar? "No pressure, darling, but if you could grow up to be as rich and famous as Eric Clapton, well, that'd be useful".

Don't you just know that any child introduced to the joys of bending a note on the old wah-wah pedal at age three is going to rebel and become an accountant. Then again, as you'll see from the image above, there is an acoustic version too. Unless you have a sound-proofed nursery, the neighbours might thank you for picking that one.
