The heart leaps to discover a site such as BijzonderMOOI, so full of lovely things. They concentrate on local Dutch and Belgian designers, with the result that they offer high-quality products some of which you won't have seen anywhere else.

I liked the 'Sakkies', above - a simple toy for a baby to explore, made from retro (or modern, if you prefer) fabric, and each providing a different touch or sound sensation. They come in their own bag, a small detail that would have had my own baby reaching for the credit card, were she able.
