Soft Grip Fork & Spoon Set

Softgrips.jpg

Kid's cutlery, there are so many options. We've tried many different kinds in our constant quest to minimize the mess that the little ones make while learning to use utensils. One of my favorite features is the heat reactive plastics that turn white when the food is too hot. I'm not sure if this soft grip set does that, but it does have at least one great feature - soft, anti-slip handles. In the early days of self feeding this is a must. Even with the squishy handles, they're still dishwasher safe.

The website also notes that they are suitable for left or right handed kids. I'll admit, I was unaware that this was a problem. I have a lefty and a righty and never noticed a difference. The site also says that the set has "ergonomically curved grips to keep little wrists from turning" - yet another problem I never knew existed. So, are these real problems or something I don't need to worry about?
