Supergoop!

It's the dreaded sunscreen season. I say dreaded because it's not an easy task to put sunscreen on wriggly, active children and at the end of the day, my kids are always a sweaty, sticky mess. Supergoop!, however, has made this daily ordeal quite a bit tolerable. Despite it's name, this sunscreen that's relatively new on the market is serious stuff and not at all goopy. With an Aloe Vera-based, broad spectrum UVA/UVB SPF 30, the formula is PABA and oil free and hypoallergenic -all the good stuff that you'd want to use on kids.
But how does the sunscreen feel on the skin? I picked up a sample at the Bubble Trade show and have been using the 1 oz. single for the past few weeks and I prefer it to many of the other natural, organic brands primarily because it's not heavy or greasy. It's lightweight and also odorless so you don't end up smelling like a tropical drink (I do actually like the smell of sunscreen at the beginning of the season, but after a few weeks of smelling like a coconut every day, it gets a bit much).
You can buy Supergoop! online or at various retail outlets and if you're not sure about how Supergoop! will react to your sensitive skin, you can always buy the 1oz tube. I really love the small size and it's so easy to throw into a bag when you're headed out.
