Ariel's Aprons

full_apron_2006_72%20%28350%20x%20467%29.jpg

I'm always drawn to pint-sized aprons; perhaps because they were one of my first home ec projects. I remember the warm mustard hue of my small smock on which I crudely cross-stitched my initials in royal blue. (Oh why have so many schools done away with this valuable program? To teach the joy of working with your hands, not to mention a useful skills... plus I never missed a day of school when I had home ec or shop. But I digress...) If you, too, have similar fond memories or simply want to boost your budding Batali, I encourage you to check out Ariel's Aprons. Made from 100% cotton in a sweat shop-free environment, each jolly apron sports bold colors and patterns that are kid-friendly, yet so very now. In fact, if you find yourself pining for the adult version, you're in luck. Matching cooks or craftsmen! How cute.
