Different wellies every day, with Crystal Boots

crystal-boots.jpg

So, as I write this, we've just returned from a shopping trip for galoshes, or wellies as they are more often called here in England. No one's at all sure what the weather is doing - in July we really ought to be enjoying long summer days, but, no, every day we wake to cloudy skies, and a good pair of boots has become a daily necessity, especially for our puddle-jumping daughter.

Try telling the shops that, though. Of course, they didn't forecast this weather, and the only footwear available is rows and rows of sandals. Time to turn to the good old internet!

Crystal Boots might be a nice option. They are based on a simple, but rather pleasing idea: the boots themselves are transparent, so that you can change the look simply by changing the socks underneath. Perfect for the fussy toddler who likes spots one day and stripes the next.
