Entertaining Elephants

By now anyone paying close attention to Babygadget, knows a few things about our writers. Some are obsessed with rockets; others - play food; a couple - felt; and many of us -orange. My thing: elephants. And look, here's a whole store named after them, Entertaining Elephants. (Actually it's named after Maurice Sendak's awesome alphabet book "Alligators All Around" - no extra charge for two recommendations in one post.)
Five years ago in Hollywood, Entertaining Elephants started making these adorable baby clothes discretely embroidered with a mini elephant. Though available in many different hues, their fall selections are pictured above. Since then EE has expanded their line to include girls dresses crafted from vintage pillowcases and boys pants from men's shirts, as well as other fun fashion. Entertaining Elephants loves all things natural - from wild colors, to natural fibers and materials - and celebrates our diverse planet with a vivid selection of ethnic goods. The results are a bit like nature herself: a festive expression of color - bold, beautiful and full of life. In keeping with this theme, EE goods are procured from ecologically and ethically viable sources. And yet another thing to celebrate: their summer sale - 40% off!
