Every Bag has a Pink Lining

Pink Lining

It's an old story: I'd never heard of Pink Lining until I researched them for Babygadget, and then yesterday I saw one of their bags in town, hanging from the handles of a Bugaboo. Which tells you just one thing, I suppose: that they are instantly recognisable.

The clue to their defining characteristic is in the name: every one of the range (which takes in handbags, travel bags and washbags as well as nappy bags) has a shocking pink lining. But of course, this is not visible from the outside - what enabled me to be so certain I had seen one was that husband and wife Charlotte and Rufus Pearl's design aesthetic is pretty distinctive too.

To be honest I am not sure I completely like it; also, do the little buttons and bows and that pink lining mean these are only for mummies? However, I do bow down in the face of the range's practicality, which accounts for the inclusion of features such as outer compartments, waterproof 'wet zones', and integral changing mats. Since these bags clock in at the higher-middle price point, that's what makes them worth your consideration.
