Little Green Star, for the hopeful daddy

star2.jpg

I'm not a violent man. I promise I'm not. I never got into fights back in my college days, and I'm rarely physically aggressive. But I do have a three-year old daughter, and whenever we're in the toy store and she makes eyes at a Bratz doll...I want to burn the place down, create a machine that can burn things that have already been burnt, and then burn that machine. To try to counteract these terrible feelings, I buy Little Green Star clothes instead.

I think the issue is every message we send to our kids is picked up and filed away so it can be used against us later. If we give them dolls that teach them that too much makeup and revealing clothes are okay, then we're probably creating our own hell. But if we put our little girls in tees that say future geologist? Well that's just okay by me. I don't want a little girl that's scared of creepy-crawlers and has to call her husband into the room, I want a little girl who knows what an entomologist is.

I love this company, they're fighting the good fight.
