The Peter's Chair - Boy, do I wish I had a friend like Hans.

The Peter's chair isn't new. In fact, it's over ½ a century old. But sometimes I like to revisit kids design classics, for those new parents out there who might have here-to-for only been paying attention to adult versions.

Back during the War (that would be “The Big One”), design icon Hans Wegner was looking for a gift for Borge Mogenson's son, Peter. And since Borge was a bit of a designer himself, it couldn't just be any old thing. Long story short, the Peter's table and chair set was born. Crafted out of sturdy maple, and featuring child-friendly, rounded edges; it remains today as sleek and modern as it was then.

(And can someone please tell me where I can get one of those adorable double-decker buses?)
