This Halloween, weave a tale with Wovenplay

If you're looking for a little extra magic this Halloween, I encourage you to browse through the collection of unique costumes by Wovenplay. From knights to faeries, butterflies to pirates, circus performers and more, each piece in this beautiful line is crafted from natural and organic fabrics, with most of the detailed artwork, needlework, and screening done by hand. The results are simply gorgeous - contemporary, yet harkening to a time when life seemed more simple.

Admittedly, Wovenplay may be more of an investment than you might want to make in a Halloween costume. But if memory serves me, dress up was never restricted to late October when I was a kid. In fact, based on the number of daily sightings of wings and tutus on the playground, I bet these lovelies might get even more play than a pair of jeans!

And for a little magic in the every day, Wovenplay's "regular" clothing line is anything but. Available at ABC Carpet and Home, NYC; Auto, NYC; Acorn, Brooklyn; Modern Child; Lost and Found, LA; Snap, Nashville; and Poe, Charleston.
