Muji in New York...finally!
How dorky am I that I'll be one in a crowd of people waiting in line at the new Muji store when it opens its doors November 16 at noon? I haven't been this excited about a store since, well, I don't think EVER. My vow to be more budget-conscious in November has gone to the crapper because of this, but I guess I do need to start buying Christmas presents after all. Muji for everyone! In addition to housewares and little toys for the kids, I'm excited about the clothes - basics, but well made. Chefdad picked up a couple of t-shirts at the Muji store in London almost 5 years ago and they are still holding up remarkably well. Let's hope that the quality hasn't changed.

Hurry up and get to the west coast! Now I won't have to travel to Paris (my first muji experience) to go get my fix! Lovely store. You're so lucky!

Darn! I'll be leaving NYC before the store opening & won't be back for awhile. For now, I'll have to settle for buying Muji at MOMA before flying home to Seattle.
