Musical Slices of Fun Table

musical-_slice.jpg

Things quiet around the house? Maybe you need the Musical Slices of Fun Table. The table is divided into four pie shaped sections featuring xylobells, a wooden xylophone, two Remo drums, chimes and a cymbal. The sections of the table can be separated, played in a circle, or set up in a serpentine shape to accommodate individual play or an entire band! Four pairs of wooden mallets are included so you really can have more than one child playing with it. All of the instruments I recognize except Xylobells - what are those?

Xylobells sounds like the same concept as the xylophone, except it uses bells (without the hammers) instead of flat pieces of wood/metal.

That looks incredible! Too old for my 1-year-old, but I'm going to remember it. I'd have to check it out in person though. One of my biggest pet peaves is how so many musical toys for children are out of tune. Unforgivable! I'd need to ensure that the instruments here were in tune (especially at that price).
