Sili Products from Silikids: bibs and kneepads

Silikids sent over a bib and kneepad made from soft, pliable, hypoallergenic silicone and I have to say, the bib in particular is something that you have to see and feel to really understand how cool it is. First of all, they hit the color choices right on - they sent me the slightly translucent gray bib and orange kneepads (how did they know?), and aesthetically, I love how the bib looks, right down to the clasp mechanism -a simple, very elegant, 2 button closure that's seamlessly made of silicone as well; no velcro or string ties. If you know anything about silicone, you know that's it's really easy to clean, can be microwave and dishwasher safe, and you can also throw it in the washer and dryer (love all those washing options). It also has no open pores so it doesn't harbor bacteria and I bet it doesn't get so moldy either, my biggest pet peeve. So I was all set to fall in love with the bib, except for one thing...it's a little too small...why??? Please Silikids, make your bibs bigger because I really do love them!

And the Silipads? Brilliant. In fact we're using them now as the baby is (sorta) crawling (she's a butt scooter, but now is doing the commando crawl) and we've got hardwood floors and no rugs (thanks to our cat who tears them up). The silicone pads provide good traction and grip so her knees don't slip from under her.
