Digital Ultra Two Way Baby Monitor

I can't count how many times I've wished that our monitor was two way. I just want to be able to say "hold on" or "calm down" - without screaming up two flights of stairs. So this Digital Ultra Two Way Baby Monitor seems to be right up my alley. And I've been reading a lot of reviews from other parents - most parents love the monitor. But some parents do not like this power saving feature where the monitor will automatically shut off if there has been no sound for a while, it is supposed to turn back on if the child stirs or makes a sound. I think I fall into the category of parents who would be really uncomfortable with a monitor that isn't always on - I am soothed by the static white noise that lets me know they are sleeping soundly.
