The Cozy Cruiser Double Baby Sled

babysled.jpg

Am I the only one who thinks the idea of an inflatable sled is a bad one? I'm not sure how they're making kids these days, but my sister and I used to beat the living hell out of our sleds growing up. Still, if you have gentle slopes and gentler kids the Cozy Cruiser Double Baby Sled may be for you.

I'm willing to admit the sled may be hardier than it looks, and the two-kid design is seriously cute. I love taking the kids sledding during the winter months, so despite my anxieties, this may be $60 well spent.

We actually have an inflatable sled for our daughter, similar to this one, only a single seater. Its GREAT! It slides along the snow, ice, and slush very very easily. Its light, so the only real weight you're pulling is that of your child. Most of the other toddler sleds we have had seem to not slide very easily, to prevent the whole screaming in terror down the hill thing, or they feel as though they weigh as much as the kid does.

Its nice for the yard, the baby can pull it around on her own, and play with it, and it wont hurt her when she falls in the slow, and the sled plows over her. Its great for the slight hill in the neighbor's yard, where its a long gentle slope that most sleds wont work on unless you really run and push.

Anyway, my daughter is 2 1/2, and this is really her first year out playing it the snow, and the inflatable sled has been a great addition to our sled collection. Yes, I said collection. 3 people, 12 sleds ...
