The Lonely Doll: a classic book

lonelydoll.jpg

This book, a reissue of one published in 1957, will please those parents who hanker for a simpler time. The black and white photos, posed by dolls and teddies, certainly evoke the seemingly more innocent childhoods of the era. Will they enchant the modern-day child who is more used to garish graphics and fast-moving tv programmes? Well, we can only try.

£15 from Couverture; there are also two more volumes in the series.
