Do it yourself cardboard kitchen

As a member of our modern materialist culture, I am well aware how frustrating it is when everything beautiful and coveted also seems to be, by design, extremely expensive. Therefore, I thought our readers (who like me don't have money to burn - I am a writer after all!), might appreciate this post. You see, for less than $10 (!), plus the cost of materials, and a little elbow grease, your child can enjoy this cool kitchen. The mom/crafter/designer behind forty-two roads has generously made this pattern available for a mere $7. Then all you have to do is buy some cardboard (or wait for the delivery of your next major appliance), as well as a few dish pans (I think it would look great with old, banged up ones frequently found at flea markets.), and, voila, modern, minimalist, mini-kitchen. Could be a fun project for you and your child, and it's recyclable. Oh yeah, and from a design perspective, utterly fab!
