The Red Retro Kitchen
Why is it that all little girls like to cook? I'm going to court some controversy by saying that I actually avoided getting Ivy cooking-type toys, but that's what she wanted. I may be coming around though, and if my little girl wants to pretend cook, then this red retro kitchen lets her be her own girl. Who am I to argue?

My son, now 6, has loved cooking since he was wee. I adore the kitchen sets that get written up in this site, but please let's remember that cooking - both play and 'parent's helper' - is good for both genders.
