Georgina Goodman Baby Shoes

Usually I would hesitate before spending more than $200 on shoes for myself, let alone my baby. But these lovely leather creations by Georgina Goodman are just soooooo gorgeous, I almost can't resist! Each pair is lovingly hand stitched in Mayfair, London from a single piece of supple, vegetable-tanned Italian leather. Both classic and modern, their simple construction harkens back to a more innocent time, while their sculptural form and nude finish make them decidedly contemporary. Truly a work of art. (Hey maybe that's how you could justify the price - get one of those display boxes and hang them on the nursery wall!)
