New Robeez Tredz

I received a package in the mail from Robeez last week previewing their new Tredz shoes and I have to say, I fell completely for the cute shoes above. I personally don't know of any baby that hasn't worn Robeez on their feet, so it seems like such a natural and logical step for the company to design shoes for outdoors (not that the original Robeez was worn strictly indoors). The shoes seem very well made and durable, with a leather that's much more substantial than the soft shoe, yet still lightweight and flexible. They even kept the elasticized back for a snug fit.

Like their other products, there are tons of styles to choose from (20, I believe) but I much prefer the "boy" styles over the Mary Jane styles for girls (although I do think the dark navy with cherries below is a good looking shoe). Sizing runs in 3 groups: 12-16 months (equivalent to a 4/5 shoes size), 16-20 months (5 1/2-6 1/2) and 20-24 months (7/8). Baby C is going to have to grow into her pair, probably by summer (I'm starting to think that both my girls have feet on the small side for their tall height), but she'll have pretty cool Tredz on her feet when she's ready.

You can purchase the shoes, priced at $42 from retailers and through the Robeez site starting today.

I heard that some of the new Me-In-Mind baby shoes (meinmind.com) have a rubber sole on the size large and x-large also, you just have to call and ask if the style you want has it. Robeez are fine if you're 30-40, but Me In Mind is where it's at if you are 20-30.
