Swobbles: the feel-good toy

Now to my eye, these so-called Swobbles look kind of lurid and unattractive in their acid bright colours - but apparently, babies are attracted to them like bees to honey. Much of their appeal would seem to lie in their vinyl feel, which babies can prod and stroke to their hearts' content. Meanwhile, parents are loving that they can wipe them clean at the drop of a wet cloth. Far be it from me to sniff at that.
