Stella Stackable Storage

Storage is always a problem. Toys pile up, so do clothes, and everything else you can think of. Having kids means having stuff, a whole lot of stuff. There are dozens of ways to store that stuff, but most of them aren't very attractive, to put it nicely. The Stella Stackable Storage is certainly one way to fix this: they look great, can be arranged in a number of ways, and even feature handles on the side for easy moving.
The downside? They're $350 per unit. I'm not saying I skimp when it comes to storage, but I wish there was something between a $7 tub from K-mart and a these beautiful $350 boxes. To put together as many as I would need would run into something serious money.
Still, these are the best solution to storage I've seen in a long time. A man can dream.

Oh, those ARE pretty. But worth $350 each? Puh-leeze. I'd buy them if they cost... say... 1/6 the price?

Have you seen the VIA boxes? They're made of wood and cost about 1/3 the price of these...

We've seen the Cubitec at Design Within Reach for $220 for a kit, which allows you to build up to 18 cubes.
