Loopy Dolls

il_430xN.20869430.jpg

Loopy Dolls are fantastical little kids who, like so many of the real thing, enjoy hanging out in animal costumes. The brain children of Jason and Miriam Roberson, these whimsical dolls are further distinguished by clever looped hands and feet, which allow them to hang from hooks and string or grasp objects like crayons or flowers. Each charming character is handcrafted from new and recycled fabrics, and comes with his or her own story. The little darling in the chick outfit above is Charles. His costume is made from a felted wool sweater and his hands and feet are pure cashmere. Some of his friends include Roberta in her rabbit suit and Althea in a flower outfit. Collect a few friends and enjoy all kinds imaginative play.

I also rather love this little print by Jason.
