Super Colossal Cardboard Cubby

cubby%2005.jpg

Woah, this oversized cardboard play structure makes ME want to go exploring inside. This model was a prototype for the Sydney Design and Decoration trade show, but it'll come flat packed and sized to fit into a car trunk (so this prototype is likely bigger than planned). If you have a big yard, I say why not. Love that kids can paint, draw or use the whole surface as a blank canvas. What if it rains, you ask? I guess it starts breaking down like any other cardboard box, but the designers day that that it will be ultra cheap and easy to construct.

That is totally awesome approach to the non-traditional outdoor playhouse. Wonders for environmental stimulation.

Cool box...does it eat the kiddos cloths or did these parents really let that poor baby pose for the photo like that?

Great idea!! I'm sure my kids will love it!! We are going to try this over the weekend and let them paint it. Thanks for posting.
