A Box of Cakes

I always come back to the same dilemma with scrumptious-looking toy food: is it right to give it to my kid when it doesn't actually reflect what we encourage her to eat? I suppose the answer is to invest in some toy tofu, toy brown rice and toy sushi (regular Babygadget readers know that that last one is no dream, but a distinct reality), and bring the box of cakes out for pudding now and again, just as we might in real life. Or just, er, stop worrying so much and enjoy a good game of cake-shops.
