Going Green? Try Some Magnetic Leaves

Leaves_2%5B1%5D.jpg

The other day, while checking the various websites and blogs that I look at daily, I came upon these neat looking magnetic leaves at swissmiss. The magnetic leaves, designed by Richard Hutton for the innovative European office furniture company Gispen, originally adorned the ceiling for the offices of the Boijmans van Beuningen museum in Rotterdaman.

Swissmiss has got big plans to put a bunch of these on a magnetic chalk board wall, but the minute I saw them I thought to myself, "These would be really cool on the fridge!" Talk about a good way to occupy your kid in the kitchen while you cook or clean up! At $2.50 each, putting together your mock forest might get a bit pricey, but at least you'll have brought some of the outdoors in --- and as we all know, something like that is priceless on a rainy day.

Available here.
