Pregnancy and the birth of a new baby are certainly joyous occasions, yet they are anything but glamorous. I remember that this was just fine with me during kid #1, but now that kid #2 is on the way.... well I just got my glamour back and I'm loath to give it up again! Maybe this fact (and the hormones) explains why, when I recently unearthed my size double D nursing bras, I cried. In the event of a nuclear bomb, I'm sure that this piece of engineering, along with the cockroaches would be among the few left standing.

Which is a long way of explaining my great excitement at being introduced to a lovely new line of nursing and maternity clothes at the recent Bubble show. It's brought to you by Ramalama, an Australian company dedicated to helping new and expecting moms maintain some of their former glory with stylish diaper bags and carriers. Now they've finally branched into clothing, and with their new line of nursing and maternity intimates, have set out to banish the days of the over the shoulder bolder holder. At Bubble, I fell in love with the luminescent satin exteriors in surprisingly rich colors: silver, gold, and black with cream lace. Lined with breathable, organic cotton, they promise to make you feel like a sexy mama, without sacrificing much needed comfort and support. Though I have not personally worn them, test groups are raving, and I can't wait to try one myself!

And to make you feel special top to bottom, Ramalama had released a companion line maternity basics all made from soft, organic, sustainable bamboo fibers. There's even something for the little ones: new organic cotton/bamboo blend baby basics will keep everyone bundled with joy.
