Silver Cross' Dazzle Stroller: Dazzling?

068ebc85-%5B1%5D.jpg

I've received a couple of postcards in the mail over the last month announcing that, at apparently long last, Silver Cross' Dazzle stroller is now available for sale in the US. So, I took it upon myself to visit the local shop selling all things baby and give it look.

I have to say that the stroller is, well, kind of neat. It's lightweight, collapsible and suitable to use from birth (it reclines and has 4-wheel suspension) through toddlerhood. As far as looks go, the Dazzle sort of resembles a stroller that I imagine Lego people would push (if they indeed had Lego babies). While the handles were a bit awkward, it was otherwise a smooth little ride with some nifty features. My personal favorite stems from a condition that I suffer from known as stroller ataxophobia. Cleverly, the folks at Silver Cross have hidden the undercarriage shopping basket so that you aren't forced to cringe at the ungodly amount of stuff that you've managed to cram into it for a quick trip to the park.

If you can handle the $300 price tag, consider handling the Dazzle. Available in "Cosmic Black, Pumpkin, Blueberry and Grape" online, stateside .
