This weekend I popped by Brooklyn Flea to sample some of the culinary delights at Jenna's new sweet shop, Whimsy and Spice. Besides being treated to the best brownie I've ever had, I was thrilled to discover several new artisans, who produce all kinds of wonderful products for kids.

One highlight was the original animals by FIT grad Sian Keegan. Lovingly handmade from a myriad of recycled fabrics, they're truly unique and guaranteed to be treasured for a long time. Patterns are available too.

I also just love these winsome animal prints from Foxy and Winston. At $75-$95 for framed (!) limited edition originals, these illustrations by English artist Jane Buck are an affordable and creative way to dress up nursery walls. Unframed prints are even less.

There were even more treats at the flea which we'll keep bringing to you. For now though, that should give you enough to chew on.
