Timkid Mio: it's a crib, it's a desk

Timkid Mio

A while back we featured a good-looking wall-mounted nappy-changer (wow, that's a lot of hyphens) from TimKid, and now here's another interesting product, the Mio. I have to apologise for the quality of the photographs, though: that's how they are on the TimKid site.

Here's the deal: it's a multi-functional piece of kit that starts off as a fabric-sided crib for your baby (fabric = less opportunity for bumps), and ends up as a desk. As a cot, it features a canopy and a bar from which you can hang toys. As your child develops, the sides can be dropped to any height just by rolling them. It's innovative, that's for sure. I'm not 100% sold on its looks, but it seems to be one of those rare multi-function pieces that actually delivers.
