Young-Hee the Korean bilingual doll

younghee.jpg

Angela over at Little Buddha Baby generously sent the girls a Korean bilingual doll named Young-Hee, made by a company called Language Littles who make bilingual dolls of many languages. Young-Hee was a big hit as soon as she came out of the box and the girls were soon fighting over the 16 inch soft doll. She has over 25 words and phrases and the audio recording of the voice is surprisingly crisp and clear. I even heard the Kid repeat phrases in Korean in her room while playing with the doll. The girls and I aren't big on dolls (Although BabyC is more into them than the Kid ever was) but we're all pretty happy to have her around. Now her clothes, on the other hand? Let's just say that I'm going to make her a new outfit as soon as I have a free moment.

Young-Hee, Ling (the Chinese doll), and Yumi (Japanese) is available at Little Buddha Baby.
