Textiles For Your Tot, By Boodalee

I have to admit that, while some mass-marketed characters can be downright cute, I tend to cringe at the thought of an entire nursery full of them. Which is why I really like bedding designer Boodalee which recently came out with these cool kids' throw pillows. Founded in 2005 by minimalist mom Jeanice Skvarilv, who feared the intruson of big commercial characters into her son's picture-perfect nursery, Boodalee combines youthful designs with modern style to produce an effect that's both interesting to children and pleasing to the adult eye.

Boodalee's simple but whimsical bedding designs also manage to consider something that some other modern "kids" design companies tend to forget: the child. This "Around the World" set is my personal favorite, though the "Circus" design runs a close second.

Available on Boodalee's website for a pretty penny.
