The Letters Playpen by Bopita

I have to admit that when I first saw this playpen, I thought it looked like an animal cage. I still kinda do, but then I read a little bit more about it and found myself thinking that it's a pretty good idea, provided your child isn't a climber yet. The Letters playpen by Bopita stands just over 3 feet tall on four raised legs and you can adjust the height of the play area.

From the pictures on the website, it looks like the play area is about 10 inches off the ground (6 inches of which comprise a drawer for toy storage) which definitely makes the frequent bending up and down that much easier on Mom's or Dad's back. While it's definitely is not as functional as a traditional livingroom "pack 'n play", it is most certainly a lot easier on the eyes (not to mention your lower vertabrae). I'm not sure what it says on each side, but you can choose your own words and they will paint them in whichever language you prefer.
So far, the closest store this side of the pond is in Canada, but perhaps this Dutch company will invade the U.S. Bugaboo-style in the years to come.

I recognized the words on the side as Dutch, and looked them up using Google Translate.
Speelgoed = Toys
Knuffels = Cuddles
Rommel = Mess

We actually call it a 'box' and almost every Dutch parent has one! It stands in your livingroom. You can put a matras in there and the baby can sleep in it during the day and play in it when it's older. We don't really know the concept of a pack 'n play.
Knuffels are also stuffed animals.
