Alphabet cards

l_72742.jpg

So, the MoMa store is showcasing lifestyle products from Japan and featuring these alphabet cards on a ring. I’m especially taken with the fact that they are on a ring and won’t get lost, have rounded edges (a safety feature I suppose) and are shaped not-quite-but-almost like kidney beans—a comforting shape, for me at least. These cards are hand drawn by designer Koshiro Toda and the result is that perfect mix of vintage yet modern veering on classic. I love Japan.
