Brother Max Food Portioners

brothermax.jpg

Seen one baby food container, you've seen them all, right? Granted, it's very hard to get excited about innovations in freezer storage. But the Brother Max food Portioners are worth a quick look for the sake of a few nifty features.

Each unit clicks to the others to save maximum space. The pot mouths open wide so it's easy to pour pureed food in, straight from the pan. And when it comes to removing the frozen contents, you can push the base and pop it out.

So while it may just be another bit of baby kit for your kitchen, at least it's a useful one. And I do rather like the look of it, too.

Hmm. I don't think they're so great. I have some and use them occasionally when i've run out of the simpler ones. I have tried to find out from Brother Max if they are made from safe plastic, but no response. And because the plastic is so rigid, the pop out button only works if you've already dunked them in hot water for a bit. They're quite hard to open, and actually, the faff of linking them all together for filling and storing, is not really worth it. Honestly, I think they're over-designed....Baby Cubes are better in my opinion, and they're definitely safe plastic. Hope that helps.
