Priti

I was ambivalent about posting a recommendation for nail polish for girls, but here goes. Sometimes I have given in to the whimsy of my daughters who, like all kids, love to play dress up, and when they do, a rudimentary version of a mani/pedi is at times requested, usually involving invisible polish; this I am all for, magical, make-believe make-up that is. Right now, however, they are wearing a sunny shade of yellow on the fingernails that screams summertime and that their visiting, older cousin put on them. What to do? When one must then, Priti nail polishes are a safe alternative because they are made without toluene, DBP and formaldehyde, all known carcinogens, and are non-toxic. The four sets (Brilliant, Heavenly, Mermaid, Fantasy) seem tailored for girls as they contain three nail polishes that either sparkle, have a pearly sheen or glow-in-the-dark, and include a soy nail polish remover that is 100% biodegradable, free of petroleum ingredients, blah blah blah. All of this nonsense is further formulated in a nut and egg-free environment for those of us still on the fence, as they say.

I sent this link to a friend with 3 little girls and she wrote me back that she ordered the nail polish and before logging off spent $400.00. Great site. Good find. ~ Rosemary
