Dadada: A Starckly simple rocking horse

tipping_stool_starck

Sometimes you can know a good designer by the simplicity of his designs - and Starck's name even seems to lend itself to that train of thought. This is a tipping stool, apparently intended to encourage adults to become childish and playful again, but also just as enticing for children.

It seems it's effectively a rocking horse, pared down to its essentials: is that a slight curve I see at the bottom? I'd love to see one of these in the flesh to fully comprehend its limits: how strong is it? How much does it rock?

Meanwhile, I can see from the link above that it comes in a spectrum of pleasing colours and costs a fairly reasonable £60.
