Handy sandwich wrapper

sandwich_wrap

How much do you spend in a year on cling-film or tinfoil, I wonder? Or, indeed, how much sandwich packaging goes into landfill with your name on it? If these are the types of issue that worry you, then the simple idea behind the Re-usable Sandwich Wrap should appeal.

Wipe-clean on one side, cotton on the other, and with a Velcro closer, apparently it'll stand up to the occasional machine wash. And while the design does look susceptible to the 'I could make that at home' train of thought, I'm sure there are just as many who think, 'Just £4.50 - well, why not?'.

A similar item is available in the US as the wrap-n-mat. http://www.wrapnmat.com/

these must be the new thing. i just came across another brand yesterday: http://www.reusablebags.com/store/wrapnmat%C2%AE-p-2.html. can't remember wehre it was linked from though... anyway this other site is cheaper, but also has less fabric options. pattern looks basically the same though.

Great idea! My daughter was just asking about how she could use fewer plastic bags in her school lunch box this year!
