Munchler lunch boxes

munchiler_lunchbox.jpg

These little fellows look to be practical first, cute as a button as a very close second. Dog or raccoon will unzip completely to make a flat surface for your kid to eat off - and they're insulated, so you can keep your food hot or cold, too.

You've got to admire the small details like the ears doubling up as handles, or the unzipped sides making huggy-shaped arms. Apparently they are the work of a New York illustrator Steven Savage, whom I knew nothing of - but having seen these, I checked out his website. And found they are half the price and come in more designs for you lucky US citizens! Ironic really, as I thought, "£9.99? That'd be a good price if you got both".

And so. $10.00 apiece, direct from Steven Savage, or £9.99 each, from Urchin in the UK.
