Isabella Oliver: Calling All Pregnant Ladies!

As most mothers-to-be experience with their second pregnancy, I am watching my waistline expand more rapidly than with my first. My old maternity clothes are unfortunately not seasonally appropriate. Now, some women absolutely love the idea of shopping for maternity clothing, but I find myself completely turned off by a lot of stuff! I will concede that maternity clothes have come a LONG way from where they were when I was born (floral potato sacks anyone?). So I looked online for "stylish maternity clothes" and up came Isabella Oliver.

These designs are just gorgeous and, unlike other higher-end maternity clothes, the sizes don't end if you were a size 6 pre-pregnancy. Hallelujah! Granted, these clothes are not cheap, but I allowed myself a couple of nicer basics (the kimono wrap for one) and hit Old Navy for the basics. One thing I like about a lot of their pieces is that I wouldn't have to retire them, but could totally wear them while nursing or - better yet - have some pieces tailored once my gestating days are over. Look out for their non-maternity line coming out this spring!
